Which entity receives your information
Caldwell Heritage LLC and Caldwell Heritage Advisory LLC are affiliated but separate legal entities. Which one receives and processes your information depends on the kind of inquiry you submit.
- Advisory inquiries — where you select the advisory option on our contact form, or otherwise contact us about owner independence, an assessment, or an advisory engagement — are submitted to and processed by Caldwell Heritage Advisory LLC as the controller of that information.
- Acquisition inquiries — where you contact us about a potential sale of your business — are submitted to and processed by Caldwell Heritage LLC as the controller of that information.
- General inquiries and ordinary website analytics are handled by Caldwell Heritage LLC.
The contact form displays which entity will receive your message before you submit it, and records that entity with your submission. Information submitted for one purpose is not routinely transferred to the other entity. In particular, an advisory inquiry is not passed to Caldwell Heritage LLC for acquisition evaluation, and acquisition inquiries are kept separate from advisory records. Where the two entities need to share information — for example shared administrative or IT systems, or because you have asked to be introduced across both — that sharing is limited to what the purpose requires.
Each entity uses its own mailbox, which keeps the two records separate in practice as well as on paper: advisory correspondence goes to advisory@caldwellheritage.com, acquisition correspondence to acquisitions@caldwellheritage.com, and everything else to info@caldwellheritage.com.
Both entities apply this policy. A request to access, correct, or delete your information can be sent to any of these addresses and will be actioned by whichever entity holds it; telling us which kind of inquiry you made helps us locate your records.
